New wedding venue Moreton House in North Devon makes a dream setting for this Regency inspired styled shoot. From bridal gowns to colour palettes, the impact of Bridgerton has been far-reaching in the wedding world, and the elegant, light-filled rooms, sweeping staircase and halls of the Georgian stately home make the perfect canvas for a wedding scene rich in nostalgic romance with a luxe modern twist.
Echoing the period drama, the mood is one of over-the-top glamour, while the palette is soft and muted with mixes of pinks, blues, peach and white accented with gold. The ceremony takes place beneath an arch of trailing wisteria and blooms in the dreamlike Ballroom, styled with blossom trees and candles. In the Grand Dining Room, a table dressed with fine tableware, shades of Wedgewood blue and dusky pink, and decadent arrangements of flowers makes a lavish setting for a tea party of sweet delights – think blancmange, jelly, macarons and dainty tarts – all bathed in candlelight for maximum romance.
