The Ashridge Great Barn is a rustic barn venue with stunning outdoor spaces including established gardens and mature woodland. Available for three-day hire for unique weddings with your personal touches, the team are here to provide planning support when you need it including, as standard, a logistics planning meeting and on-the-day coordination. With ample space for outdoor ceremonies, including the Magic Circle in the gardens and the Secret Glade in the woodlands, Ashridge Great Barn also has a sprung wooden dancefloor, a firepit and a ‘snug’ quiet area. The Barn itself is an airy building with an historical grandeur which retains a feeling of warmth and intimacy. The Barn looks just as stunning decorated with fairy lights and candles as it does dressed with vintage bunting and rustic bouquets, allowing you to style the space however you desire. On-site accommodation for up to nine people is included and unlimited camping or glamping is also available. 

At Ashridge Great Barn, we give you complete flexibility: your caterer, your florist, it’s all up to you. It is your day after all! Having held our family weddings here, we believe that your wedding day should be bespoke and meaningful to you. We wanted to give you the same opportunity to have the wonderfully personal and unique celebrations that we did.  There is a level of planning support built into all hire packages - with logistics meetings, help with suppliers and order of the day as well as on the day coordination, we’ve got your back for whatever challenges you come across.   

Your wedding shouldn’t be stressed, rushed or shared. Here at Ashridge Great Barn, we only host a limited number of exclusive weddings a year, the Barn is yours for a full 72 hours. Take a full day to prepare, have a rehearsal dinner or get the professionals in whilst you catch up with family and friends.  On your big day, relax and enjoy your wedding knowing that everything is in hand. The entirety of your special day is devoted to making your wedding dreams a reality. Afterwards, spend a slow day packing up or host a send-off brunch - the choice is yours.
