Trenderway offers a choice of licensed indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing couples to select a setting that suits the size, season and atmosphere of their wedding.

For an outdoor ceremony, The Meadow provides an idyllic setting overlooking the grounds and lakes. Surrounded by countryside, it brings the landscape into the heart of the vows and offers space for celebrations to continue outside afterwards.

Mowhay Barn pairs rustic stonework with oak floors and twinkling festoon lights, creating a warm and atmospheric setting for ceremonies of up to 85 guests. The Conservatory and traditionally styled Library offer inviting options for smaller weddings, while The Linhay can host both the ceremony and reception.

Couples choosing a religious service can marry at one of the beautiful churches nearby before returning to Trenderway for drinks, dining and the evening celebrations.

Celebrate in The Linhay

At the heart of the wedding celebrations is The Linhay, a restored 200-year-old Cornish stone barn with whitewashed walls, oak floors and a striking timber interior.

The barn can accommodate up to 105 guests for a seated wedding breakfast before transforming into a lively evening space for dancing and celebrations. Larger evening parties of up to 250 guests can be accommodated, allowing couples to invite additional friends to join them after dinner.

Upstairs, The Oak Bar serves drinks throughout the evening, while a second bar helps everything flow smoothly during larger celebrations. Music can continue until midnight, with the bar remaining open until 1am.

Outside, the private courtyard becomes a natural extension of the barn. Festoon lighting, seating and an outdoor wood burner create a relaxed space where guests can gather, while the courtyard also works beautifully for confetti, barbecues and informal evening food.

Food, drink and personal details

Trenderway works with a carefully selected collection of recommended caterers, giving couples the freedom to choose food that suits their tastes, plans and budget. From relaxed sharing dishes and barbecues to a traditional wedding breakfast, the menu can be shaped around the style of the day.

Drinks receptions can unfold in the secluded garden overlooking the meadow and lakes or within the courtyard surrounded by the barns. The venue offers a full bar service, while some packages allow couples to provide their own drinks during the wedding breakfast without a corkage charge.

The experienced weddings team supports couples from their first visit through to the day itself. With a coordinator on hand and the freedom to select trusted suppliers, couples can create something personal while knowing the practical details are being carefully managed.

Stay at Trenderway

Seven individually styled ensuite rooms provide five-star bed-and-breakfast accommodation for the couple and up to 12 of their closest guests.

The Meadow Barn Couple’s Suite offers a luxurious and peaceful retreat for the newlyweds, while the remaining six rooms allow close family and friends to stay at the heart of the celebrations. Breakfast is served in The Butler’s Pantry, providing an opportunity to gather again the following morning.

Depending on the chosen package, accommodation may be available across several nights, allowing couples to arrive early, settle in and enjoy the anticipation of the wedding together.

With the harbours, beaches and coastal paths of south-east Cornwall nearby, guests can also make their visit part of a longer break exploring Looe, Polperro and the surrounding countryside.
