Styled shoot on the Cornish coast

We're loving this weather - and we're loving this gorgeous styled shoot, which took place on a wonderful summer's day at Hayle Sands. Here, wedding planner Jenny Wren reveals the story behind the shoot, which features a carnival of colourful florals, dresses, headpieces and brilliantly creative details for a very cool wedding by the sea.

"Just a few weeks ago on a sunny Sunday, if you were perhaps walking your dog in the dunes of Sandy acres in Hayle or parking up to check the surf, you may have wondered what the heck was going on!

A beautiful refurbished VW camper was sitting pretty against a typical Cornish backdrop nestled in the dunes, along with a charming countryside style wedding table lay up and what seemed to be a bridal party in their full attire. Not to mention, half a dozen ladies buzzing around putting the finishing touches to hair and make up, arranging flowers, putting the favours on the tables and one in particular capturing it all on camera.

Well now - all can become clear, sorry to disappoint but this was not the first wedding Sandy Acres car park had ever seen! This was the result of some small Cornish businesses (all of which relate to the wedding industry) coming together on the coast of Cornwall to set the scene for a stunning camping style wedding photo shoot.  Each business involved gave some kind of product or service, each equally important elements, which collectively brought the look together.

After months of organisation the ladies were up early at Sandy Acres to reserve the best possible spot with the best possible backdrop. Blessed with Cornish sunshine and clear blue sky to showcase that beautiful view in all its glory they immediately got to work.  Sandy Acres campsite kindly allowed them to  use their house so the models could be primed and prepped, whilst the others set the scene down in the dunes for the 'bride and groom' to be!

Every detail was covered. From a delicious wedding cake, name cards on the tables and favours for each guest to locally made wedding rings, stunning bride and bridesmaid dresses and even a ring bearer dog (complete with coordinating neckerchief!)

This collaboration of small business owners resulted in some really beautiful photographs which they can now all use to promote their business's. The wedding planner involved will also be sending these out to national bridal press, showcasing the talent of a small selection of Cornwall's wonderful wedding industry suppliers, thus benefitting all involved."
