Each pair of lovingly crafted shepherds' huts is specially designed to offer five-star luxury in a traditional, artisan and characterful setting. 'Halcyon' and 'Aurora' are tucked away amidst a private copse of beech trees, complete with a fire pit, a beautifully crafted deck and snug seating - a truly idyllic vantage point in the sweeping panoramas across lush pastures and wooded valleys.

Plush features and character-packed touches abound inside. The handcrafted oak interiors enhance the warmth and cosiness of the space, while a king-size bed sits beneath a glass ceiling - perfect for gazing at the night skies as you snuggle beneath silky-soft linen. There's even a roll-top bath framed by up lights, a deluge shower and a wood-burning stove.

While the living space comes with a gas hob and oven so you can rustle up a meal for yourselves, the Starbed Larder Menu is packed with delicious home-cooked meals and snacks for dining in style minus the hassle. If you can tear yourselves away from your Hideaway for an evening out, you'll find a number of good pubs and restaurants nearby. You might indulge in a massage or beauty treatment in the comfort of your own Hideaway - or simply while away a dreamy few days together in this slice of heaven, savouring the solitude, the sumptuous comforts and a spot of stargazing.

TAMAR VALLEY
A wooded river valley running between the Cornish and Devon moors, the Tamar Valley offers a dizzying choice of things to do. It's easy to get to the coast for sunbathing or surfing, or slow the pace down and indulge in a cream tea at one of the many nearby National Trust properties. Being awarded Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty status says a lot about the valley and its sweeping, stunning scenery, and visitors are encouraged to walk, cycle or horse ride along the recreational trails - or even soar above the wide expanse of landscape on a jaw-dropping hot air balloon ride.

For chill-seekers...
SCILLY STACK
Sitting at the picturesque breakfast bar, coffee in hand, with nothing obscuring your vast view of the rolling fields and wild Atlantic below, it's hard to believe this charming boutique-style cottage started life as a stone cowshed. Having been lovingly renovated, it's now the epitome of countryside chic and no-holds-barred leisurely luxury, perfect for the honeymooning couple who want to get away from it all and enjoy their first few days together in secluded wedded bliss.

The cosy living room boasts a roaring fire for those chilly winter months, while the modern kitchen has all the mod-cons you'll need to stay sated as you bunker down for a few days, with the window perfectly framing the sea views beyond. In warmer climes, grab a book and lap up the beautiful weather in the sun-drenched courtyard, or take a short stroll to one of the nearby coves that surround this gem of a property. The bedroom is all luxury linens and contemporary artwork, while the bathroom, with its walk-in rain shower, will offer welcome rejuvenation after a day lazing at the beach or walking along the area's scenic coastal footpath.

Situated in a tiny hamlet just outside St Just, on the tip of Cornwall's south-west, the only people disturbing your peace will be the odd rambler or a rare-breed cow in the neighbouring fields. Other than that, the luxurious cottage will be your haven to relax, unwind and reconnect with each other after the busy bustle of wedding season.

ST JUST
The first and last town in England, St Just has a rich mining history, which can still be seen by the disused engine houses dotted along the landscape. Being situated at the end of the Penwith peninsula, its access to pretty coves is second to none, while nearby Cape Cornwall, now owned by the National Trust, is the perfect spot for exploring the local coast paths and visiting nearby Lands End.

A favourite of honeymooners, Overlake provides your own private slice of wilderness presiding over the site's former-quarry-turned-lake, where crystal clear waters reflect the surrounding canopy of trees that appear to bow down in prayer toward the sparkling, dragonfly-dancing surface.

The striking 18-foot-high structures - in authentic North American style, in a nod to their original nomadic use - provide a comfy, back-to-basics home for your stay and accentuate a palpable sense of light and space as you embrace the simplicity of a tipi holiday.

Everything you'll need for a proper camping experience is provided, such as a cooking stove, cool box, kitchen essentials, fire wood, and on-site shower, washing and toilet facilities, allowing you to freely roam and relax according to your newly-wed whims.

Wake up to the soundtrack of birdsong and take a refreshing swim in the lake before lounging around the private campsite or exploring nearby destinations such as Port Isaac, Polzeath, Boscastle or Tintagel. Return for a hearty fire-cooked feast as the sun sets and bed down under a starlit sky to commence married life with a sense of abandon only such awe-inspiring surrounds can magically afford.

NORTH COAST
Near St Kew, on Cornwall's north coast, the area is surrounded by pretty little villages and coves ripe for exploring. A car is a must to get here, but you can then ditch it in favour of coastal rambles and moseying through Bodmin Moor. The area prides itself on its fresh seafood, so be sure to try the local mackerel or scallops at one of the nearby restaurants - in fact, Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant is just across the estuary in Padstow. Book a late-night river taxi to get you there and back, so you can end your evening travelling in style under a moonlight sky.
