Botanical Wedding Style

Graceful yet wild, gentle yet brilliant - the vintage-inspired tableware and thought-out florals are key to these botanical scenes of splendour

BOTANICAL BLUSH
Drawing on bohemian elegance for this styled shoot, the design evokes tasteful luxury, with soft scents and gentle tones. Beaded chargers and gold cutlery bring the opulence, while tinted pink glassware provides a subtle wash of colour designed to wow.
The luxe florals complement the stylish settings - ornate David Austin roses are an obvious star, while the white polianthes tuberose cut through with an exquisite scent, a sensory pleasure so often overlooked. Textural richness comes from the smooth, deep tones of eucalyptus, while British-grown astrantia add a contrast of scale.

Striking next to the florals is the vintage cut crystal glassware, which brings out the blush tones of the hand-dyed bamboo silk runners, a softness offset by the structure and hard lines of geometric candleholders. Everything about this stylish setting whispers boho luxury, botanical brilliance and the gentlest of graceful design.

EARTHEN SPLENDOUR
Set in an enchanted garden, wild flora sets the scene here, with moss forms and twisted stems giving a raw woodland feel. In keeping with the deeper, earthier inspiration for this shoot, timber plays a striking role, providing a solid natural backdrop for the fanciful macrame runners. Designed to stand out rather than blend in, the runners are complemented by antique metalware and the dreamiest of dreamcatchers, while coloured glasses and scattered petals lift the dark visuals into something rather more whimsical and playfully quaint.

Connecting with the surroundings by incorporating outdoor elements and giving them a slightly tamed and graceful vibe, trailing jasmine vines allow for an organic movement to the floral decoration. Lifting the light levels of the clematis and brilliant white scabious, fully open blooms sit alongside sweet fluffy buds, with a shock of vibrant colour coming from the rich purple verbena bonariensis.

This is a look of earthen splendour; an eclectic vision with mismatched china and vintage cutlery gently providing a curious sentiment, backed up by strong brass candlesticks and jewel-coloured boho glassware. Nothing is contained, but everything has its place.
