The manor house provides an elegant setting for ceremonies and drinks, while the chapel, stable yard and surrounding grounds bring texture and atmosphere to every stage of the celebration.

Marry in the historic house

Civil ceremonies can take place in the Drawing Room, Library or Hall. Each room has its own distinctive character, allowing couples to choose between a grand gathering and a more intimate exchange of vows.

There is also a selection of outdoor ceremony locations across the estate, surrounded by woodland, lawns and open countryside.

The Strawberry Gothic Chapel provides a particularly enchanting setting for a blessing or personalised ceremony. Although it cannot host a legal civil marriage because of its religious history, its ornate architecture and romantic atmosphere make it one of Trelowarren’s most memorable spaces.

Celebrate across the estate

After the ceremony, guests can gather for champagne in the Drawing Room, Chapel Court or on the sweeping lawns. The estate’s historic buildings, gardens and wooded paths offer endless opportunities for photographs.

The rustic Stable Event Space seats up to 120 guests for the wedding breakfast before being transformed for dancing and the evening party. Its characterful interior provides a versatile backdrop for styling, flowers and lighting.

Couples have flexibility over their food, with the freedom to appoint an outside caterer or work with the team behind the onsite New Yard Restaurant. Seasonal produce and locally inspired menus can bring a distinctive taste of Cornwall to the celebrations.

Stay at Trelowarren

Accommodation is available in the manor house and a collection of luxury self-catering cottages scattered throughout the estate. This allows couples and their guests to stay close while enjoying the privacy of their own space.

Weekend packages give couples time to settle into the house, welcome their guests and enjoy more than a single day together. The celebrations might begin with dinner or drinks and conclude with breakfast, a woodland walk or a swim in the heated outdoor pool.
