The Events Barn provides a rustic setting for a larger ceremony, while the Medieval Sitting Room offers an intimate alternative filled with historic atmosphere. Smaller ceremonies can also take place in the River Shack.

Outside, couples can exchange vows on the riverbank, in the orchard or within the gardens. Surrounded by trees, water and open countryside, each location provides a naturally romantic backdrop for the ceremony and photographs.

Celebrate in the Events Barn

The 17th-century Events Barn accommodates up to 60 guests for a seated wedding breakfast and 120 for the evening celebration. Its rustic interior provides a versatile canvas that couples can decorate and style in their own way.

Food is equally flexible, with couples free to appoint their preferred caterer. An outdoor kitchen, barbecue area and large pizza oven lend themselves beautifully to informal feasting and long summer evenings.

As the celebrations continue, the barn offers plenty of room for drinking and dancing, with an optional bar available. Guests can also wander between the buildings and outdoor spaces, making the most of the farm throughout the day.

Stay for the weekend

Exclusive use from Friday until Monday turns the wedding into a full weekend away. The farmhouse sleeps up to 18 guests, allowing close friends and family to stay onsite and enjoy time together before and after the main celebration.

Additional options include camping beside the river and pitches for caravans and motorhomes in the orchard. From preparing the venue together to gathering for a relaxed breakfast the following morning, couples can make the experience about far more than a single day.
