Matching sandcast jewellery from Justin Duance

Renowned for his contemporary jewellery crafted from recycled precious metals, salvaged woods and ethically sourced gemstones, jeweller Justin Duance is perhaps best known for his sandcast creations.

 

This set is a captivating example, featuring an engagement ring, a set of textured wedding rings and a matching set of studs to be gifted on the wedding morning. 'All the pieces are cast in recycled 14ct white gold which has a lovely stormy grey colour, and each piece has had little reclaimed vintage diamonds organically set for a subtle sparkle as they catch the light,' explains Jamila Hirtenstein at Justin Duance. 'The couple chose sand from our collection to cast the rings and studs in. We happened to have the sands from their favourite beaches in Thailand where they love to holiday.' Although the workshop houses a considerable collection of sand from across the globe, couples are welcome to source sand from a particular beach, whether it was the location of your engagement or the setting of a childhood holiday, to create a ring rich with texture and personal significance.
