"My approach is simple: beautiful photographs without turning your wedding into a photoshoot.

I’m there for the big stuff, obviously, but I’m just as interested in everything happening around it — the nerves before the ceremony, your dad trying not to cry, the look across a crowded room, the badly behaved children, the ridiculous dancing and all those tiny moments you had no idea were happening.

Alongside weddings, I spend much of my working life photographing major television productions. It’s taught me how to read a room, gain people’s trust quickly and make strong photographs while everything carries on around me — skills that translate surprisingly well to a wedding day.

I’ll give you direction when it helps, particularly when we make portraits together, but I never want you to feel endlessly posed or pulled away from your guests. Most of the time I’m right in amongst it, anticipating what’s coming next and letting you get on with having an incredible day.

The result is colourful, honest, people-first photography that feels like you — not a version of your wedding manufactured for the camera.
