Tipi Weddings Devon

"The inspiration started with the idea of a small intimate shoot with The Little Red Bus," explains photographer and bus owner, Laura Farmer.

"Not having done a tipi wedding before, we also wanted to show the high end outdoor wedding boho and festival bride what we could do. I teamed up with Georgie Febery to capture the change in the seasons with the colours, sights and smells all for the senses. I knew Vicky from the North Devon Wedding Network could transform this into a stunning setup so 'Tipi Heaven' was created!"

"Toffee apples, marshmallows with fire pits and sparklers gave us the taste of an Autumnal bonfire feast. Soft gauze, hessian and lace running the lengths of the Swedish tables featured alongside the colours from flowers, leaves and soft light from the candles."

"We also wanted to incorporate the woodland at this time of year with eucalyptus foliage, branches and logs, along with The Bow top caravans, the bell top tents and ribbons and lace to create romantic backdrops both inside and out. And, of course, the tipis were a wash of colour with pumpkins, autumnal fruits, candles, lighting, brass, wood and glass with paper lanterns hung from the ceiling. This vibe gave an intimate feel to this very special outdoor ceremony and wedding breakfast."
