Popular North Cornwall venue Pengenna Manor, an exclusive private house set in over 300 glorious acres, has announced the opening of a new wedding space.

The Stables is a charming room on the ground floor of the original Manor stable block, dating back some 200 years, and is perfect for the most rustic of wedding ceremonies and characterful drinks receptions. With its original stone cobbled floor, rustic beams, part whitewashed walls and old wooden shutters, the room is licensed for up to 60 guests for a ceremony and can accommodate over 80 for a drinks party. The scene is completed with a copper pipe arch as the focus for your ceremony, flexible seating is provided by rustic straw bales that can be bedecked with cosy blankets, and funky festoon lighting is strung along the walls.

'We are delighted to be able to open up yet another of our gorgeous old barns for use by our couples and their guests,' says Richard Blewett, proprietor of Pengenna Manor. 'This space has so much charm and brings our total number of licenced ceremony locations up to six, offering everyone the chance to have their wedding day exactly the way they want it.'
