It is difficult to imagine a more breathtakingly beautiful country house setting than Pynes House. Tucked away its own 37-acre park in the Exe Valley, the private, exclusive use wedding venue marries elegant architecture, exquisite interiors and idyllic grounds to beguiling effect. Built around 1700, you'll find grand state rooms alongside relaxed sitting rooms and luxurious accommodation, all bathed in natural light and sympathetically restored to balance the building's historic charm with contemporary comforts.
With the recent restoration of the 18th century servant accommodation providing six additional guest rooms, Pynes House now has 12 double rooms in total available to hire for weddings. Each room has been individually designed and styled by interior designer, Holly Keeling, using Lewis & Wood wallpapers, gorgeous fabrics and vintage pieces. Great care has been taken to retain a sense of authenticity to the spaces, which had been untouched for 70 years, through original features ranging from the distressed beams to the servant bells. Complete with luxe bathrooms, contemporary features and views across the stunning gardens and grounds, your nearest and dearest will relish a stay in this most exclusive and exceptional of settings.
This development marks the completion of five years of extensive restoration and refurbishment, delivered with painstaking attention to detail, by family owners Geoff, Heather, Kate and Jon, to breathe new life into Pynes House and create the most extraordinary setting for the most memorable of days.
