Featuring a back-to-nature ceremony with just the couple's young children in attendance, this styled shoot celebrates the world of options open to couples who dream of a small and 'so-you' wedding. 'It can be really special to spend your big day with just your family, but it doesn't mean you can't have all the extras a larger wedding would have,' explains Annabelle Cowling of The Cornish Flower Company who styled the shoot.
The dreamy summer scene certainly isn't short on style and luxe touches. Set in Little Oak Cornwall's green and secluded meadow, a tipi styled with natural shades and textures offers ambience and romance in abundance. 'The almost Moroccan theme is in keeping with recent trends, the soft furnishings, warm lit tipi and dried flowers creating a cosy hygge feel,' says Annabelle.
Decorated with petals and pampas grass, the cake makes a captivating centrepiece, the palm motifs and warm hues of the stationery slotting seamlessly into the aesthetic. Holding the hands of her small daughters dressed in pretty embroidered frocks, the bride's soft boho gown, floral crown and effortless hair and make-up adds to the relaxed dreaminess of the celebration.
'This set-up would be so amazing for a summer's evening,' concludes Annabelle. 'Just imagine close family, delicious food, evening music and your own private countryside hideaway.'
