If there’s one wedding-day obsession that never fades, it’s the flowers. Whatever your vision – modern minimalism, rustic romance or full-on floral fantasy – your blooms bring it to life. Enter Blossom and Kelp, a north Cornwall-based floral design studio that turns your day into a breathtakingly blooming work of art.
 
Led by Rachel Millson-Hill (with her trusty sidekick, Kelp the dog, always nearby), Blossom and Kelp is rooted in a love for all things wild, seasonal and beautifully undone. “Berries, seed pods, grasses and unusual foliage are some of my favourites to include in my creations!” says Rachel. “I take my inspiration from nature and the seasons and having a background in art, illustration and design, I consider floristry painting with flowers! It has definitely helped me to develop my individual, natural style.”

Working closely with each couple, Rachel weaves your aesthetic with her signature style to create wow-worthy floral designs – from statement hanging installations and whimsical floral archways to petal-filled tablescapes and jaw-dropping bouquets. 
 
But style isn’t the only thing that’s carefully considered. Sustainability is a guiding principle in Rachel’s work. Every stem is sourced from the highest quality local growers selected for their green credentials. Reusing and recycling materials and composting all green waste, Rachel avoids cellophane and dyed, waxed or painted flowers, and swaps traditional floral foam for agrawool – a biodegradable, wool-based alternative.
