Craft a truly unique set of bands at the jeweller's Penryn workshop
A symbol of unity and enduring love, the wedding ring is one of the most time-honoured elements of the ceremony. Today, more and more couples are choosing to go beyond tradition by crafting their own – adding a layer of meaning, memory and artistry to the bands they’ll wear every day.
Amidst the whirlwind of wedding planning, a hands-on ring-making workshop offers a welcome pause – a creative, intimate experience for two that’s as meaningful as it is memorable.

Enter Becca Williams, a jewellery designer-maker with over 15 years of experience. Based in her relaxed studio in the historic town of Penryn (just a stone’s throw from the buzzing creative hub of Falmouth), Becca invites couples to step into her world and handcraft their own wedding bands from start to finish.

No experience is necessary as Becca will expertly lead you through each stage of the making process with exclusive use of the studio and tools. You can choose to work with gold, silver or platinum, sourced either by Becca or brought in by you – she even offers the option to melt down heirloom jewellery. “Many people choose to include gold from parent or grandparent’s wedding rings to maintain the family connection,” she says. Whether you create something minimalist or bold, textured bands, the result is a set of rings rich in character and sentiment – and truly unique to you.

Many couples turn the experience into a romantic weekend getaway, exploring Penryn’s charming streets or Falmouth’s independent restaurants, galleries and shops after a day in the studio.
“One of my favourite parts of the day,” shares Becca, “is seeing couples happily surprised at their own capabilities – making rings beyond their expectations, excited for the lifetime of wear ahead of them.”
