The wedding breakfast comprises one of the most joyful and eagerly anticipated moments in a day filled with highlights. Dedicated to creating unforgettable wedding feasting experiences, the team at North Cornwall-based caterers Beautiful and the Feast continue to push the envelope with their wow-worthy culinary offerings, as showcased in this stunning shoot.
“After another beautiful year of wonderful weddings, we couldn’t wait to play with exciting food and styling ideas that have been brewing in our imagination throughout the season,” says events manager, Ayse Ozdemir.
Set within the grandeur of The Lost Music Hall, a luxury country manor house venue in South Devon, a vibrant tablescape celebrates the bounty of the South-west, with beautifully styled food and flora piquing all the senses. “Here in the South-west, we are so lucky to be within arm’s reach of so many incredible farmers and local producers,” explains Ayse. “We wanted to celebrate this with a tablescape that celebrates both the food and the flora in one: big green rosettes of Brussel tops and pearled golden pears with the season’s most delicate narcissus.”
The dishes – featuring fresh vegetables, succulent fish and decadent desserts – are as visually striking as they are delicious. This focus on creating memories through feasting is central to Beautiful and the Feast’s ethos. “With every wedding, we want to help our couples create memorable moments that stand out,” says Ayse.
For the coming season, their new dessert offerings promise to linger long in their guests’ memories. “We have reimagined the classic wedding cake moment with a touch of theatre,” shares Ayse. “What better way to do this than with a giant pavlova pudding, decadent and rich with fresh fruit and cream? Then there’s dreamy dessert stations, laid high with towers of chocolate brownies and stacks of Eton mess, glinting with candlelight and silver, for your guests to grab a spoon and tuck in.”
A shared approach to dining is at the heart of of Beautiful & the Feast’s philosophy. “Our food is never plated individually – eating communally and sharing is our thing. We find it brings people together, encourages conversation and a more relaxed eating experience for everyone,” she continues. Picture big, beautiful dishes curated to share, passed around between family and friends, turning the meal into an ice-breaking, joyful and delicious experience. “We want your guests to feel like they’re at the best dinner party ever and we’re here to make that happen!” says Ayse.
