'I wanted to take a classic theme and add a little injection of colour whilst still keeping the overall mood luxurious,' explains photographer and stylist Jen Shoubridge of Jennifer Jane Photography. 'Adding some subtle accents of gold is a great way of bringing the warmth of colour to your day while keep the overall aesthetic and ambience timeless.'
A stationery suite featuring gold foil, calligraphy and bespoke wax seals sets the elegant tone, while the floral installations ' luscious clusters of white signature roses and hydrangeas sitting upon tall gold stands ' makes for a luxurious and captivating tablescape against the historic, foliage-cloaked walls of the stately home. 'White plates were paired with gold cutlery and gold-rimmed glassware which looked striking against the simplicity of the crisp white linen,' says Jen.
Echoing the splendour and palette, the cake is an intricate vision of gold leaf and exquisite floral and lace detailing, displayed alongside a variety of delectable and finely crafted sweet delights, from cake pops to iced cookies.
