Receptions with a luxe look

Gold luxe wedding style

Wherever your venue - add a little luxe with gold accents, opulent shades and decadent details for a wedding full of wow factor

There's nothing quite a luxe look to a wedding for a sense of indulgence, and it's easy to achieve the look whether it's a more modern or vintage aesthetic you favour. From pastels or brights mixed with metallics to muted shades punctuated with a subtle smattering of sparkle, a little luxe can go a long way toward that all-important eye-catching effect.

Shot at Polmanter Touring Park, this styled editorial takes gold and coral as its central colour scheme to create a spellbinding space replete with interest by layering shades, textures and features for swoon-worthy results.

The floristry is a key component, with striking arrangements throughout the reception and ceremony spaces, while the cake carries the decadent blue and coral tones alongside a gorgeous gold decoration on the lower tier, which is perfectly accentuated by the classic cake gold stand.

The tabletops are adorned with bright blooms and coloured glassware toned down with classic dinner sets in white with gold rims that are flanked by gold cutlery and delicate votives where just the flicker of candlelight reveals the gold interior and intricate lattice pattern. And with gold-edged stationery that continues the theme with its stunning calligraphy and leaf-motif design, the scene is tied together with an acute attention to detail.

That, of course, leaves the couple: a bride dressed in a statement gold gown smacking of old school Hollywood glamour while reflecting the runways' latest obsession with metallics and a groom sporting two trends du jour - a blue waistcoat with check pattern
and contrasting slacks for a cool, yet debonair ensemble.
