Combine a crisp white backdrop with lush leafy floristry for a modern-meets-exotic aesthetic that brings the outdoors in to simply spellbinding effect

"The wedding industry is currently awash with 'golden hour' vintage lace shoots as well as dark moody and moody shoots so I wanted to create something different: something bright, clean and contemporary," explains Suzanne Johnson, who styled and shot these images at Trebah Gardens.

"I'm an outdoor lover and Trebah is one of my favourite places to visit with our pooch. When deciding on which location the shoot would take place I thought about my ideal wedding venue (if I were to do it all over again!) and Trebah had to be it!"

"This shoot was heavily inspired by Scandinavian design and the simplicity of geometric shapes contrasted against the natural shape, form and colour of leaves. I wanted to try and break the norm so decided not have any flowers at all - only green foliage with a variety of textures and variations of colour in the green fauna. We foraged as much as possible including the abundance of ferns that were heavily feature throughout."

"I chose two distinctly different looks for the models to show the diversity of the location. Emily's look was inspired by freedom, nostalgia and adventure whereas Bridget's look was inspired by serenity, classic elegance couple with bold striking colours which echo Trebah's landscape. Both dresses were refashioned by Kay and Caroline bringing them up to date whilst keeping the air of history deep in their folds."
