Head to intimate Cornish wedding venue, The Cornish Place, on Saturday 25th October for a calming candle-making workshop in The Glasshouse, where you’ll learn how to blend scents, explore the benefits of essential oils and pour your own luxury soy wax candle perfect for your wedding fragrance.
Led by Cornwall-based aromatherapy candle expert Victoria, founder of Bryluen Botanicals, the workshop will guide you through each stage of the process, from scent selection to candle pouring. With a deep passion for wellbeing and natural living, Victoria handcrafts each candle using soy wax and pure essential oils, never synthetic fragrance.
Her workshops offer a calming, sensory experience where guests learn to blend their own therapeutic scents and pour their own candles. Candle-making with essential oils isn’t just creative; it’s a mindful ritual that supports relaxation, emotional balance and inner calm.
Guests leave with a personalised candle and a deeper understanding of safe, non-toxic aromatherapy. Each workshop is a beautiful fusion of craft, wellness and nature, suitable for all ages.

Price: £65 per person for a two-hour workshop, including all materials, refreshments and a candle. The candle can be collected 24 hours after the workshop, once it is set.
