Gorgeous new designs at the Exeter boutique
Beautiful things await in Exeter’s Historic West Quarter, where the 16th-century Merchant’s House – known as The House That Moved – is home to Pirouette and its enchanting collections of bridal fashion.
Showcasing gowns from three renowned designers – Maggie Sottero, Sottero & Midgley and Rebecca Ingram – the boutique’s rails span vintage romance and timeless glamour to bohemian and whimsical styles. And with a dreamy selection of new arrivals, there’s even more to fall in love with.

Maggie Sottero
For timeless romance, Zahia by Maggie Sottero pairs all-over lace with a beautiful basque waist and plunging V-neck, creating a glamorous silhouette with a modern edge. Esmeralda by Rebecca Ingram brings a softer take on romance, combining an illusion lace bodice and sweetheart neckline with layers of Chantilly lace and sequin tulle – a versatile beauty that would look equally at home in a grand country house or a relaxed garden setting.

Florals take centre stage with Vineyard by Sottero & Midgley, an ethereal A-line gown adorned with hand-painted tulle and three-dimensional flowers. Detachable ruched tulle cap sleeves complete this head-turning design, bringing a whimsical flourish to Pirouette’s latest arrivals.
And the finishing touches are every bit as considered, with a collection of veils, headpieces and shoes to complete your bridal look.
