BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL
I love this time of year. With the long, balmy days come thoughts of sun-kissed celebrations full of nature's finest details - whether it's wild flowers bursting with colour, beachside parties with a side serving of fresh sea air, laidback country dos dressed with rustic decor or menus chock full of delicious seasonal produce. We're revelling in the mood this issue and bring you all manner of dreamy wedding ideas, from gorgeous gowns and creative cakes to darling details for your reception.
It was on such a sun-drenched day that the Wed team decamped to Hotel Endsleigh in Milton Abbot to shoot our bridal fashion spread, 'Love in Bloom'. With florist Amanda Randell on hand to create some fabulous bouquets, we captured some classically romantic gowns from The Bridal Box against the stunning garden backdrop.
We headed to North Devon's breathtaking new wedding venue, Millbrook Estate, to shoot 'Enchanted'. Lace is big news in bridal wear at the moment - not least due to Kate Middleton's jaw-droppingly beautiful wedding dress - so it seemed timely to showcase some dreamy lace gowns from Frilly Frocks.
The treats continue with 'Reception Perfection', which was shot in the fairytale setting of Bickleigh Castle. Let these pages inspire some super sweet ideas for your cakes, flowers and party decor, courtesy of some of Devon's most talented wedding suppliers.
