 If you’re planning your big day, mark your calendar for this Sunday 30th November 2025, because The Box in Plymouth is hosting a wedding fair that you won’t want to miss.

Organising a wedding can sometimes feel overwhelming, but finding the right venue and suppliers shouldn't be stressful. The event will be a great opportunity to explore and chat to local wedding suppliers in an elegant and unforgettable setting.

Taking place from 10am until 1pm in the beautiful St Luke’s church gallery right opposite The Box’s main building on Tavistock Place, the event is free to attend. All you have to do is book a ticket in advance via The Box’s website/online shop. As a special treat, everyone with a ticket can also enjoy a 10% discount on food and drink in The Box Kitchen & Bar throughout the day.

The Box isn't just hosting the fair – it's also a wonderful wedding venue itself. This award-winning museum, art gallery and archive offers a unique backdrop for ceremonies, wedding breakfasts, receptions and celebrations, right in the heart of Plymouth.

Couples can choose from a variety of spaces: St Luke’s gallery provides capacity for around 180 guests, while there are smaller areas for more intimate gatherings. The venue hire package includes a dedicated wedding coordinator, themed lighting, table linen, furniture – even a one-year membership to The Box for the newlyweds. If you’re after something even more iconic, The Box also offers ceremonies in the Lantern Room at Smeaton’s Tower, Plymouth’s historic 17th-century lighthouse on The Hoe.
