The Surfrider is a bright ceremony space with a large bay window framing views across the Atlantic. Licensed for ceremonies of up to 100 guests, it also has its own outdoor terrace and works beautifully for drinks and photographs after the vows.

For a smaller celebration, the Surfrider can host an intimate wedding breakfast for up to 40 guests. Its coastal outlook and private feel also make it particularly suited to elopements.

The silk-draped indoor marquee provides a larger licensed ceremony and reception space. Centrally heated and protected from the elements, it offers the romance of a marquee wedding without relying on the Cornish weather.

Although legal ceremonies cannot take place on Fistral Beach, couples can complete the formalities at Oceanside before holding a celebrant-led ceremony or blessing on the sand.

Oceanside can cater for up to 140 guests during the day and welcome as many as 200 for the evening reception.

The indoor marquee provides a flexible setting for the wedding breakfast, speeches and dancing. Its draped interior can be coordinated with the chosen colour palette, allowing couples to personalise the space with flowers, lighting and decorative details.

Food is prepared by the hotel’s in-house team, with options ranging from formal seated dining to laid-back beach-inspired menus and barbecues. The main restaurant and bar offer further spaces for welcome drinks, pre-wedding gatherings and relaxed celebrations the following day.

Fistral Beach, the nearby headland and Newquay Harbour provide a wealth of coastal backdrops for photographs, particularly as the evening light settles across the Atlantic.

The hotel offers 27 rooms for wedding guests, sleeping up to 65 people. Rooms are styled with a light, contemporary coastal feel, with selected options offering sea views and private balconies.
