Echoes of Romance

Echoes of Romance

A celebration of love blending modern luxury with the natural magic of Cornwall’s countryside

Framed by 1,500 acres of glorious countryside on the banks of the River Tamar, Pentillie Castle & Estate offers a captivating backdrop for a modern love story.
Its manicured gardens, wisteria-draped Pavilion, Victorian Bathing Hut and elegant interiors form the perfect canvas for an editorial celebrating contemporary bridal and groom’s fashion.

The grooms channel modern sophistication with a playful twist. One pairs a plaid two-piece with a patterned silk tie and a forest-green velvet dinner jacket, while a sugar-skull-backed waistcoat adds a hint of fun and colour for the evening. The second keeps to earthy tones in a debonair midnight-blue suit layered with a brown-grey check waistcoat and patterned tie. A flash of pink from the boutonniere and the copper sheen of the waistcoat back catch the light beautifully, lending a contemporary edge to his look.

The bridal looks are equally enchanting. The first gown, a plunging backless A-line with a sweeping train and delicate floral lace appliqué, exudes effortless romance. The second – a dreamy pairing of a tulle skirt and cropped lace top – brings a playful, boho-luxe energy. A pearl-encrusted headband, delicate Alice band, cathedral veil and hand-tied bouquets of blooms from Pentillie’s gardens complete the vision, perfectly framing the estate’s fairytale setting.
