The intoxicating atmosphere of Morocco ' its vivid colours, heady flavours and otherworldly charms ' is the inspiration behind this entrancing styled shoot. Located within touching distance of Cornwall's north coast, Mount Pleasant Eco Park offers the perfect canvas, with its grassy surrounds, versatile spaces and ethos of sustainability which lies at the heart of the shoot for coordinator and stylist Sophie Walker-Sunderhauf of The Little Details by Sophie.

'I love the completely different culture of Morocco. I have a weakness for the markets, the silver lanterns, the colourful tiles, the leather poufs and the mint tea,' she explains. 'You can go from haggling in the middle of a market to drinking mint tea on a roof terrace and feeling like there is no one else in the world. The atmosphere is incredible, and I wanted to show people that you can have that at your wedding.'

Creating an exotic yet intimate ambience is key for a Moroccan-inspired celebration. 'You can be bold, you can be colourful and it can be busy, but you can also have corners where it is peaceful and relaxed all while being eco-conscious,' says Sophie. Colour is also crucial: here, rich ochre is offset with fresh blues, most strikingly in the cake, which is decorated with dried flowers and figs, while the bouquet is a medley of dried blooms in shades of tangerine, yellow and blue. Echoing the palette, a moon arch woven with palms, pampas grasses and blooms in rich tones of pink, red and orange makes a head-turning focal point for the vows.

The tablescape is so evocative of Morocco, exuding an intimate and romantic vibe with its glinting silverware, blue speckled ceramics, softly draped linens and candlelight; textured cushions, patterned rugs and lanterns complete the scene. Young guests can also enjoy a comfy, cosy space in a styled tipi filled with activities.

With warm make-up and soft waves falling at her shoulders, the bride's effortlessly beautiful styling works perfectly with her bohemian lace dress, while the groom keeps his ensemble simple yet striking in a crisp shirt and colour-pop buttonhole.
