From low ceilings and period features to snug sofas nestling roaring open fires, The Lamb Inn is packed with easy charm. Situated along the Tudor cobbles of the scenic village of Sandford, the 16th century former coaching house is a stirring setting to marry and celebrate, whether it’s an elopement or an intimate wedding with your loved ones.

Offering licensed ceremonies and receptions for up to 40 guests (and 80 for the evening), couples can exchange vows before a bespoke wedding breakfast in the function room. The award-winning pub puts flavour first, creating sumptuous menus using locally sourced produce, while local real ales and lagers are complemented by a world wine list alongside a host of gins and ciders. Imagine taking a loved-up stroll through the picturesque country village after the vows, then returning for a mouthwatering feast and drinks in the hazy evening sunshine of the secluded garden. The pub also offers boutique accommodation, complete with modern luxuries and sink-into-me beds.

Every wedding is tailored to suit your vision, whether you wish to exchange your vows in the Tap Room ahead of a romantic dinner for two and overnight stay in the honeymoon suite, or dream of a laidback gathering of your favourite few for a fun-filled day of festivities.

Packages include a host of benefits and services such as a wedding coordinator, room hire, a one-night B&B stay, exclusive daytime use of the whole pub, the courtyard and sun deck, and welcome, table and toast drinks (with a plethora of additional extras also available). And with their 15-person package starting at £3,300 (or 25-person package starting at £3,850), The Lamb Inn is both an affordable and wonderfully indulgent choice.
