It's simply magical when you walk into a venue and it immediately takes your breath away, and that's exactly what happened when we arrived at Enys House & Gardens to shoot our bridal fashion story, 'Enduring Love'.
Down a leafy, winding drive, you're greeted by the vast presence of the house, which has been in the Enys family since the 13th century. Its 34 rooms are both magnificent and unique, a crumbling and faded grandeur adding to the allure of the majestic space. It's the perfect spot to host a wedding, thanks to it being a blank space on which to stamp your mark, but with the added attraction of being truly vintage.
Peeling plaster and vintage touches enhance the large, open rooms, with light streaming in from the vast windows that look out over the estate. There's also the appeal of the almost 1,000 acres of incredible gardens, woodland and meadows, 30 acres of which you can roam and enjoy.
Offering outdoor options in which to take your vows, you and your guests can then make the most of a marquee in the grounds or take over the sprawling mansion for an unforgettable party.
