Introducing Down by the River Florals

"Wholehearted, beautiful and wildly elegant" is how talented floral designer Lisa Marie Grigsby of Down by the River Florals describes her approach to floristry - and it's clear to see in her portfolio of captivating creations.

Armed with a background in lifestyle photography and styling for Cornish artists and brands, Falmouth-based Lisa has also attended the esteemed Tallulah Rose Flower School, merging her natural affinity and passion for flowers with formal floristry training. Taking inspiration from her rural and coastal Cornish surrounds, foliage and texture play a key part in her designs, which utilise seasonal and local blooms wherever possible - with an emphasis on being foam and plastic-free. "I often incorporate foraged hedgerow elements and wildflowers and grasses to provide elegant, natural finishing touches and to create unique floral designs individual to the needs of the people I work with," she says.
