Combining the wild beauty of its stunning natural setting, this styled shoot at Mount Pleasant Eco Park takes full advantage of its stunning surrounds while showcasing the splendour of a bold and bright wedding scene.
"The concept of the shoot was 'colour clash', using orange and pink as our primary colours throughout," says Sally from Roaming Souls Photography. "We wanted to create a contrast; with something loud, but complementary of the beautiful setting surrounding us in Porthtowan."
"Mount Pleasant Eco Park is wonderfully wild venue tucked away on the cliff tops of Porthtowan Cove, with a rustic, outdoorsy set up surrounded by rolling meadow fields and a cheeky seaview," she says. "We wanted rustic to clash with quirky! We captured the quirky elements of the venue and complimented them with bright shades of orange and pink, embracing nature in all its colour!"
From the petal-pretty wedding cake adorned with fresh blooms to the abundance of floristry in a rainbow of hues, every detail is a riot of colour to create the most vibrant, sensorial scene. The bridal bouquet and flower crown both complete and contrast with the ensembles: beautifully layered confections of bralette, pants, crop top, sheer topper and star-embroidered overskirt, which all accentuate the boho, playful vibe of the editorial.
Hanging installations, kitsch stationery design, and table tops adorned with a mix of colourful tableware and natural textures merge the twin aesthetics of nature untamed and colour unleashed. The result? A fun, eye-catching and on-trend reception space with a hint of the unconventional for couples keen on fabulously distinct style.
