Calligraphy and yoga day retreats with Anon Design Studio

And some of our favourite wedding stationery designers, Anon Design Studio, have some up with Luxury Day Retreats designed to do just that. 

"The newest luxury day retreat combines mindfulness through making, yoga for wellbeing, nutritious delicious locally sourced lunches and drinks, all set at Newquay's beautiful Watergate Bay Hotel," say Erica and Lyndsey of Anon Design Studio. It's a beautiful idea for a hen do, or for a stressed-out bride who wants some time to focus on herself, while learning a new skill.

Taking place on Saturday 10th November 2018, from 10.30am until 5pm, the day will begin with yummy treats and eats served on arrival, before you make your way to a secluded spot on the estate for a relaxing 90-minute yoga session, coached by wellness advocate Amy of Next Wave Yoga & Therapy.

A healthy and nutritious lunch served from the Living Space follows, then the 'Mindfulness Through Making' workshop will begin, led by Lyndsey of Anon Design Studio - a delightful hands-on couple of hours mastering the art of modern calligraphy. By the end of Lyndsey's session you will be able to re-create a favourite quote, short reading, or your own chosen words beautifully and with great confidence.

And as the day draws to a close, you'll reflect and enjoy tea and cake together, before being gifted your very own mindfulness kit to take home - including a mini calligraphy toolkit and guide sheets.
