A wild woodland wedding shoot

Are you a boho bride at heart seeking to showcase some free-sprited style on your wedding day? Then look no further than this beguiling styled shoot, which captures the wild atmosphere of a woodland wedding to spellbinding effect.

"The theme drew inspiration from the ancient Celts and Vikings, the mood was whimsical and mysterious - like the dancing of Kate Bush and Florence and the Machine," explains photographer, Suzanne Johnson.

Pairing an ethereal dress with eye-catching accessories, the bridal look is one of natural beauty. The gown has been repurposed and hand-appliqued by local designer, Roamer Rose. "Slices of fabric have been added and layered, giving the piece beautiful folds as the model moves," says Suzanne. The look is completed with a breeze-wafting cape and an incredible headpiece featuring foraged fir cones and feathers, as the bride reflects her surrounds with stylistic flair.

And with the hair and make-up perfectly complementing the look courtesy of sumptuous earthy shades, loose curls and boho-style braids, brides seeking to design their own wild fairytale should feel inspired by this wow-worthy editorial.
