The resplendent Duke of Cornwall Hotel, near Plymouth's waterside, serves as the backdrop for this chic styled shoot, which showcases the best of 1920s' style. "I have always been fascinated by the history behind the hotel and love the fact that it has seen many different styles and eras since opening in 1863. I knew that the photo shoot needed to be in keeping with the age of the hotel so we opted for the 1920s with an element of Hollywood glam," explains Agata of UpArt Photography. "Whilst being a 1920s' shoot, a modern bride-to-be could easily see herself being inspired by this shoot and bring those elements to her own big day."
Elegance pervades throughout the styling, from the lace-edged vintage gown to the cut-glass whisky decanter sitting atop a dark oak bar table. The opulence of the Jazz Age provides inspiration for touches such as the feathered headpiece, the tiered cake embellished with gems and silver accents, and props such as the globe bar and gramophone.
