MAKING WAVES
There's nothing more romantic than nude tones and soft waves tumbling onto your shoulders. Keep it simple and let your hair do the talking, or go boho with a statement headdress hugging your forehead.
The hair: "Set a full head of heated rollers, then brush the hair out and leave it in soft, loose curls. Use a light misting of shine spray," says stylist Holly Carter of Gershwins Hairdressing's creative team. "For a very soft boho look, the loose curls should look natural and not too 'set'. Adding a headpiece creates an individual and polished Grecian feel."
The make-up: "For a flawless complexion, use a light loose powder on top of a light creamy foundation," advises make-up artist Cara Bergman of Gershwins Hairdressing's creative team. "Shiny nude-toned eyeshadow creates a soft look, which is complimented by pink lip gloss. For beautifully arched eyebrows, use an angled pencil and a soft wax to smoothen and shape."

FREE SPIRIT
A relaxed up do and fresh, pretty make-up makes for whimsical and beautiful bridal style.
The hair: "This is a classic look with a soft, modern feel," says Holly. "After setting the hair in heated rollers, plait it all the way around the hairline and gently tease soft, loose tendrils to fall around the face, creating a whimsical look. Finish with a headpiece for added elegance."
The make-up: "To brighten and enhance your eyes, use pale, colourful tones with a softened line of eyeliner to open the eyes," says Cara. "Finish with cherry pink gloss to polish and plump the lips."

AMAZING GRACE
Marry softly sweeping hair and a glossy rosy pout for a contemporary spin on classic beauty. The perfect pairing for a lace gown, this graceful look exudes elegance.
The hair: "Channel Downton Abbey with a relaxed 2013 edge," says Holly. "Think smooth volume and a simple, sophisticated up do with a soft, modern twist."
The make-up: "To prevent any foundation or blusher lines, use a large soft brush to blend in the elegant, warm tones," says Cara. "For a rosy vintage effect, use a soft pink lip gloss with a warm pink blusher. To blend the eyes, use two similar shades using the lighter one as a base and the darker one to define and shade." She adds, "Draw out definition to your cheekbones by using a light bronzer for a base and a warm intense blusher to tone."

GLAMOUR PUSS
Ooze screen-siren style with red carpet-worthy hair and a flawless complexion. The perfect style for a glamorous gown, team your glossy locks with some glitzy accessories for a suitably sparkly finish.
The hair: "Set the hair in heated rollers for body and bounce," says stylist Hayley Young of Gershwins Hairdressing's creative team. "We used a bun ring to bulk the hair out, and the hair was gradually laid over it. A series of overlapping sections give texture and add interest to this intricate look. The vintage style slide really sets off the mood of old school Hollywood and red carpet glam."
The make-up: "To create a bolder look, use darker nudes and black eyeliner to draw attention to your eyes," says Cara. "Use a dark brown eyebrow pencil to define the shape. To maintain this matte look, use a primer and pale pink lipstick." She adds, "For a warm look, use a lighter concealer under the eyes to hide any imperfections and widen the eyes, as well as to highlight. Use a cooler blusher blended into a warm bronzer."

THE HIGH LIFE
Fuse a soft, romantic bridal look with a dash of retro and a touch of sparkle for an effortlessly stylish statement.
The hair: "Give a classic beehive a messy, relaxed twist for a contemporary take on 1960s' chic," says Hayley.
The make-up: "For a classic bridal look, go for soft, natural colours but define and deepen your eyes by separating eyelashes and using multiple darker tones of eyeshadow," advises Cara.
