From an heirloom engagement ring to creating the handmade details, family values played a big part in Hannah and Isaac's bloom-filled wedding

A performance in 'Jesus Christ Superstar' while the pair were starring in their school play together led to romance between Hannah and Isaac, whose proposal at one of Cornwall's most breath-taking locations was as romantic as it was poignant. "Isaac proposed to me with my great-nana's art deco engagement ring on the beautiful clifftops of Kynance Cove," reveals Hannah. "We were having a picnic when Isaac got me to read Proverbs 31:10. It was lovely to share the time together on such a sunshiny day."

Having decided to avoid a stringent theme for the look of their wedding, Hannah and Isaac simply compiled things they liked for an eclectic and personal mood, though, "as the wedding was in the country, it definitely had a natural country feel!" admits Hannah.

The textile design graduate lavished in the details, and personally designed the colour scheme that featured a beautiful blend of teal, burnt orange, lavender, mustard, mint and baby blue.

Floristry was a key and striking feature, with a mix of crocosmia, succulents, eryngium thistle, hydrangea, lavender, craspedia, gypsophila, avalanche roses, daisies and ranunculus combining to create the beautifully blooming scene. "My grandma, auntie and friend also made teacup flower arrangements for the table decorations and some flower bunches for the church," says Hannah.

The transport provided another standout feature, as Hannah and Isaac took advantage of their dads' personal classic car collections, with Hannah arriving with her father in his Jensen-Healey before later being whisked off as a newly-wed in a magnificent Morris Minor.

Reordering the schedule to suit their individual fancies, the church service was followed by Roskilly's ice cream and the cutting of the cake before a lip-smacking picnic that boasted pâte, cheeses, and artisan breads; then it was time for the homemade wedding cake with strawberries for dessert.

Newlyn Reelers kick-started the party with a ceilidh and the evening continued to enthral guests with a homemade photo booth, hog roast and sparkler tunnel for Hannah and Isaac's grand exit.

"Our favourite moment would have to be the actual getting married part at church!" concedes Hannah when asked to select their most treasured memory of the day. "Making those promises is - to us - the most important commitment we will ever make and though that comes with testing struggles at times, it is also the most exciting thing to give to someone you unconditionally love."
