Pengenna Manor is a 'blank canvas' venue, but also still very much a family home. The current proprietor Richard Blewett (the sixth generation of his family to live at the Manor) will work with you in the build up to your wedding to help you use the Manor and its grounds however you wish, and then personally host you for the entirety of your stay, ensuring your wedding passes without a hitch.
Tie the knot in the feature summer house with views down over the valley while your guests look on from under an avenue of apple and cherry blossom trees; under the archway of the 450-year-old front door of the Manor with your guests sat out on the front lawn; or inside the Grade II Manor House itself in the historic surroundings of the Drawing Room. There's also the rustic Cowyard Barn with its walled courtyard looking down over the Manor and, new for 2020, The Stables, a charm-filled room on the ground floor of the original stable block, dating back some 200 years.
Celebrate your union with a drinks reception in the walled garden on the front lawn of the Manor, in the Drawing Room inside it, on the Ha-ha Terrace with its sweeping valley views, on the terrace in the Marquee Garden, or in the new Cowyard Barn and adjacent courtyard. Or, if you wish, in all five locations!
For your wedding breakfast and evening party, up to 70 guests can make merry in the Cowyard Barn with its ancient stone walls, supporting granite stone posts and festoon lighting strung through the roof timbers.
For your overnight accommodation, there are four beautifully restored, character-filled bedrooms available inside the Manor sleeping eight guests on a bed and breakfast basis. Consisting of the glamorous Art Deco-style Bridal Suite with its luxurious en-suite shower room, and three further sumptuous bedrooms – two good-sized double bedrooms and one smaller twin bedroom that can be converted to a double – each of these rooms have been individually and tastefully decorated in a grand country house style. On the edge of the Estate (just five minutes walk from the Manor) there is an additional house, Watergate, set in three acres of its own gardens that sleeps six adults and two children, which is available on a self-catering basis.
For the rest of your guests there is a wide range of fantastic accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets in the area near the Manor, including FREE camping in the Manor grounds itself for all of your guests, and two large houses close to the Manor that are perfect to accommodate other members of your family on a self-catering basis.

Treseren translates from the Cornish/Gaelic as 'homestead under the stars'. Our secluded spot, encircled by mature trees in the midst of Trewithen countryside, is located in the Parish of St Newlyn East. THE GREEN CORNWALL
There are many locations where you can exchange your vows. The oak arbour is outdoors, set on the hillside, and framed by two majestic English oaks; it looks down onto a canopy of trees in the lush green valley below, while the lake arbour is set by the river beside our lake nestled amongst the trees.
As you coast gently downhill from the granite-speckled heights and wild, sweeping contours of Bodmin moor, the open expanses give way to a dense wooded valley. In a wonderfully secluded spot, where lush hills tumble into the idyllic river valley below and a picture-perfect patchwork of orchards and meadows cloaks the horizon, you'll find The Green.
Formerly a dairy farm, this beguiling space has received a remarkable makeover. The farmhouse and huddle of granite-faced barns now house luxury accommodation, transforming the farm into a sumptuous retreat while preserving its rich character. For your reception there's the stunning Red Brick Barn. It's hard to believe that the Red Brick Barn was once a cow shed. The red brick walls and original beams have been lovingly retained but the rest is pure sparkle and glamour. The front of the barn has floor-to-ceiling doors that open fully to views over Kitt Hill and distant Dartmoor. The outside is clad in oak and there is oak flooring.
The Green Room is perfect for a meal for a smaller group. Natural light pours through its spectacular glass front-and there are stunning views towards Caradon Hill and the mysterious tors of Bodmin Moor. Simply decorated with white walls and solid oak floors, the Green Room is a blank canvas waiting for you to make it your own.
