LOVE IS ALL AROUND
From the depths of the ocean to the stardust of the heavens, this issue sees us looking to our spellbinding surrounds for a wedding where the wonder of nature meets the wonder of love. ‘Wildly in Love’, a beguiling styled shoot set deep in the Devon countryside, sets the mood: the elements of earth, air, fire and water inspiring a bohemian love story filled with nature-inspired hues and palpable romance.

Drawing on the magic of the night sky, ‘To the Moon and Back’ takes a modern approach to a celestial wedding, scattering a palette of blues with metallic accents, bold shapes and cosy touches, while ‘In Deep’ takes the ocean as muse, weaving marine inspiration with ethereal styling for a sea-loving celebration.
The leafy climes of Brickhouse Vineyard make a lush canvas for an elegant wedding with whispers of California in ‘Love in the Vineyard’. And another corner of south Devon – new wedding venue The Grain Store – takes centre stage in ‘Industrial Revolution’, where rustic styling and industrial touches create a modern wedding scene inspired by its characterful location.

And, while we couldn’t be happier to see big weddings back, it’s good to see small weddings are going nowhere. Three couples share the magic of their scaled-back big days in ‘Small Weddings of Dreams.’

More loved-up couples share the stories of their dream Devon weddings in ‘Got Wed’. We love them all, from the sun-drenched ‘70s’ vibes of Cassie and James’ boho celebrations in the countryside to the pastel-pretty elegance of Sylvie and Nick’s wedding at Rockbeare Manor. There are al fresco vows, gorgeous florals and nods to ‘Bridgerton’ in Chloe and Adam’s stunning celebration – the very first wedding at Moreton House in north Devon. And Amal and Matt’s wedding was positively bursting with colour, music and joy on Devon’s south coast. Each wedding draws on a sense of place – together with the passions of the happy couple – to create the most beautiful celebrations of love and togetherness – something we all prize more highly than ever.
