Or take the vows outside, surrounded by the drama of the North Devon coastline. The clifftop grounds offer panoramic views across the Atlantic towards Lundy Island, making an extraordinary backdrop for an open-air ceremony and those first just-married photographs.

For couples planning a larger reception elsewhere, the ceremony-only option allows up to 80 guests to experience Ocean Kave's spectacular setting before continuing the celebrations at another venue.

Celebrate in intimate style

For a complete small wedding, celebrations continue in the Rustic Barn, an informal reception space designed for eating, drinking and dancing with up to 28 guests.

Following the ceremony, guests can gather for a welcome drink and canapés on the lawn before sitting down to a three-course wedding feast or relaxed barbecue. Later, turn up the music and dance beneath the fairy lights before heading outside to catch one of Ocean Kave's spectacular sunsets.

The intimate scale allows couples to spend meaningful time with every guest while still enjoying all the elements of a traditional wedding day.

Elope to the ocean

For couples who want to keep things beautifully simple, Ocean Kave's elopement experience is designed around the couple, with the option to invite up to six guests.

Exclusive use of the venue and grounds, accommodation, photography, a celebratory drink and canapés, styling and an intimate dining experience are brought together in one package, leaving couples free to concentrate on each other and the experience of getting married in such an extraordinary setting.

Stay a little longer

Elopement and small wedding packages include two nights at The Paddocks, a romantic coastal hideaway with its own west-facing balcony and hot tub – the perfect spot for soaking up the sunset after the celebrations.

Additional self-catering cottages are available nearby on the estate for members of the wedding party, while direct access to the South West Coast Path puts some of North Devon's most dramatic coastal scenery right on the doorstep.
