Welcome to your bridal style bible. Yes, this issue of Wed is our biggest yet, crammed full of chic shoes, dreamy veils, vintage finds - and lots of dresses.
Given the glamorous vibe of this bumper issue, Fowey's sumptuous new guesthouse and interiors emporium, Upton House, was the perfect backdrop to capture the season's show-stopping gowns and statement headwear for our bridal fashion special 'Glam Rocks'.
For those of you seeking a barefoot bohemian vibe, don't miss 'Into The Wild' - an ethereal collection of dresses, accessorised with dainty jewels and gorgeous florals. Scattered with tipis, an abundance of wildflowers and a secluded lake, the enchanting landscape of Cornish Tipi Weddings made a dreamy setting for our shoot - and a wonderful venue for couples seeking a beautiful celebration close to nature.
While we're on the theme of nature, I've been exploring some of the prettiest corners of the county for our country venues special. From a majestic house set amidst a sprawling estate to a cluster of rustic cottages tucked away in west Cornwall, pore over 'For Love and Country' for our pick of the county's romantic rural retreats.
We also get back to basics with our rundown of the wedding party duties, tempt your sweet tooth with our guide to pairing drinks and desserts and inspire some eye-catching petals with our statement floral ideas. Then there's a feast of heart-warming love stories and coolly creative celebrations in 'Got Wed'. I've been well and truly blown away by some of the wonderful weddings that have taken place in the county recently.
Speaking of which, I have a bit of news - I've just got engaged. Having launched Wed Magazine with my partner Brendan four years ago, we've finally decided to tie the knot. As I write this, we haven't even started to plan the big day - all we know is that it will be full of fun and personality. So I really will be with you every step of the way!
