NATURAL BEAUTY

I love running Wed Magazine. Each issue, we find ourselves with an abundance of gorgeousness to fill these pages. There's the incredible cakes and jewels, the food and flowers, the decor and dresses - oh, the dresses! But the star of the show? Cornwall, every time. And this issue, the county shines in all its ancient, untamed, captivating beauty.

Our styled shoots take us from the wave-lashed shores to the granite-speckled moors. There's the Viking vibe of 'In Her Element' on the sands of Perranporth and the wildly atmospheric Celtic mood of 'Midwinter Spirit' in the far west. A sense of space and freedom amidst rolling countryside inspire a free-spirited air in 'Light as a Feather', while natural organic touches abound in a Cornish vineyard in 'Amid the Vines.'

And if you want to celebrate your marriage in a venue that celebrates the natural world and surrounding landscape in all its enchanting glory, then head to our feature, 'Let Nature Rule', where we explore four venues that do just that.

One of Cornwall's most romantic wedding venues, Scorrier House, made an elegant backdrop for our bridal fashion story, 'She's the One', which showcases a stunning collection of gowns embellished with the most exquisite detail.

And the gorgeous local inspiration continues in 'With This Ring' where talented local designer-maker's showcase their handcrafted rings inspired by the Cornish coastline. 'Bites of Delights' brings you brilliantly creative canape ideas bursting with locally sourced flavours while 'Just the Tonic' is a round-up of the finest Cornish gins to serve at your reception (needless to say, deputy editor Lucy and I thoroughly enjoyed the research!)

The beauty of Cornwall shines through in each of our real wedding stories, too. From Emily and Will's windswept celebration on the clifftops of St Agnes and Kirsty and Josh's wet wedding on the shores of Newquay to Chelsey and Michael's sun-kissed nuptials on the south coast, the backdrop to these brilliantly individual days is truly enchanting. Come rain or shine, in Cornwall, you're promised a wildly beautiful day.
