Wedding season has sprung and, here at Wed, our thoughts have turned to playful details, brilliant blooms and parties by the sea.
We relished the sunshine and sheer beauty of a day at Pentillie Castle and Estate shooting our bridal fashion spread 'A Vintage Romance'. The first signs of spring had begun to stir and the estate was poised to burst into life. It was the perfect setting to capture an exquisite collection of gowns, embellished with elegant lace and glamorous jewels - not to mention Pentillie's resident peacock, Charlie, who made it onto our front cover!

Having grown up on the sandy beaches and rugged coastline of West Cornwall, I must confess to a particular fondness for seaside venues. There's something about the salty air, the call of the seabirds and a breathtaking ocean backdrop.
