Powderham Castle is one of the oldest castles in Devon and boasts a range of incredible wedding packages. 

The 600-year-old home of the Earl and Countess of Devon near Exeter is available for exclusive use for civil ceremonies, blessings in the Chapel and wedding receptions. Surrounded by a stunning Deer Park and set in beautiful gardens and grounds with views over the River Exe, couples can enjoy exclusive use of the Castle to create their dream wedding.

The Castle rooms are available to hire in many combinations to suit individual needs. Options for up to 180 guests include the use of a large Dining Room, two adjoining Libraries, a Music Room or a marquee on the lawn accommodating up to 1,000 guests! A renewed wedding licence now encompasses many other stunning locations on the Estate including the 18th century Pavilion in the Woodland Garden, the White Drawing Room, Staircase Hall and the Rose Terrace Entrance. Wedding packages can be tailor-made and a dedicated wedding coordinator is on hand to help manage the arrangements for the big day.
