Valleyside Barn has the ‘wow’ factor. Set in the beautiful Exe Valley, along a hedge-lined drive and past a picturesque pond and gardens, it's a rustic barn with an industrial edge. Valleyside Barn was awarded Wedding Venue of the Year, receiving the gold award at the 2025/26 Visit Devon awards, which followed on from a highly commended in the Barn/Country venue category at the 2024 South West Wedding awards.
A Mediterranean-style courtyard provides an idyllic backdrop for an outdoor ceremony and the main barn is the perfect space for a wedding feast and party. The beautiful surroundings offer numerous places for capturing magical photos including access to a private stretch of the river Exe.
The main barn features solid wood beams, black steel frames and spacious seating for up to 120 for a wedding breakfast. A glazed bar leads to a terrace overlooking the paddock and rolling hills of the Devon countryside.
There are three luxury, gold award-winning glamping tents on-site sleeping up to 18 guests and the couple have a dedicated luxury honeymoon suite for utmost comfort. Catering and decoration is flexible, allowing couples to transform the dream and vision of their wedding day into reality. Located in the historic village of Bickleigh between Exeter and Tiverton, it is easily accessible but within a countryside setting.
