An exclusive luxury breaks resort at the heart of Cornwall is now available to stage rural weddings, and has teamed up with one of the county's leading planners to deliver tailored events. Hendra Barns offers high-end accommodation at a rural lakeside location near the village of Mitchell, and the peaceful secluded valley lends itself perfectly to romantic celebrations.
Owner Ken Evans has transformed the old buildings into luxury holiday properties using oak beams, slate floors and high-end fittings, creating a charming country retreat.
"The offer is pretty special with the lakeside setting, extensive grounds and even a couple of peacocks. It was my vision in creating this sanctuary that it is used for happy occasions," says Ken. "I decided it was time to extend the invitation to wedding parties and found the perfect partner in Jenny Wren to deliver exceptional events". Wedding planning service Jenny Wren Weddings and Events will be working with Hendra Barns and the couples in tandem to make their vision a reality. "The potential to create unforgettable events in this rural gem is genuinely exciting," comments Jenny Phipps.
Weddings are only available on an exclusive use basis. The private celebration can be designed entirely according to your vision, occupying the entire resort from three to seven nights, with accommodation for 20 in the three luxurious properties.
