Tucked down two miles of private driveway the Dairy Cottage, with breathtaking views across the park to the woods and lake in the valley is the perfect escape. There is nothing here that suggests the modern world: no wifi, no television and no phone reception; the only sounds are birdsong and the lake in the valley, a pile of board games and puzzles awaits your arrival in the sitting room, there are beautiful walks around the estate and the cottage is toasty warm heated by a wood chip boiler. Filled with colourful fabrics, big duvets and cosy beds you can immediately relax and unwind.
There are delicious restaurants in local fishing villages, tiny lanes wind through valleys to reach the magnificent south coast where you can walk on totally deserted beaches and on the way back stop off at a wonderful local farm for some cider tasting. Return at the end of the day to a massage by a local masseuse and enjoy the tranquillity of Boconnoc.
The cottage sleeps eight people but is just as cosy with two staying, it has its own kitchen and sitting room and a beautiful wooden table in the dining room made out of Boconnoc Oak by a local carpenter. It can be hired for a weekend or a week and is self-catering or a cook can be booked.
