Article Published: Monday 29th June, 2015 - 5:23pm

Based on the Devon-Dorset border in 65 acres of organic farmland, just a stone's throw from the beautiful Jurassic Coast, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's iconic River Cottage HQ is a unique and idyllic setting to celebrate your wedding.

Now fully licensed to conduct civil ceremonies and partnerships, couples can get hitched in Hugh's famous farmhouse or beautifully refurbished barn with breathtaking views across the Axe Valley.

Get married at River Cottage and you'll be sharing centre stage with the food. Couples design their wedding menu with the talented River Cottage chefs and kitchen team, wowing guests with the finest local and seasonal ingredients from the West Country, as well produce grown and reared on the farm itself.

River Cottage HQ is yours exclusively for the day. You can say 'I do' in front of your nearest and dearest in the famous farmhouse, or the beautifully restored threshing barn if you intend to invite a crowd. Guests are welcome to wander the smallholding at their leisure; you might relax on the decking, serve welcome drinks out in the walled garden, or even have your blessing amongst the sweet peas! The yurt is a cosy alternative to the garden where you can gather around roaring fires, twinkling fairy lights and sheepskin rugs.

Dedicated wedding planner Lydia will be on hand every step of the way to ensure your day pans out perfectly. Her scrupulous attention to detail assures you a wonderful wedding to remember.
