Four Star Status for The Alverton

The historic and Grade II listed, The Alverton, has become Truro's first and only 4 star hotel setting the bar for service, decor and facilities in the city.
The coveted fourth star was awarded by the AA - the UK's most recognised and respected rating authority and marks a successful first month for the hotel since it revealed a stylish new look across all 33 of its bedrooms, public areas and grounds as part of an extensive refurbishment programme.
In a double achievement, the hotel's brand new brassiere restaurant and cocktail bar has also been given the AA's seal of approval and awarded a Rosette for its innovative menu and use of local produce. The award puts The Alverton among the top 10% of restaurants in the country and showcases the new but experienced team of Head Chef, Restaurant Manager and Bar Manager, as being a winning combination having been headhunted from within the local community to bring together the best of local talent in each field.
