One of Cornwall’s most historic hotels and stunning wedding venues has revealed its flair for style and originality by unveiling its brand new destination bar and brasserie.

Blending traditional period details with contemporary design, The Alverton Hotel in Truro has created a dining experience which exudes glamour on a grade scale. A subtle palette of crisp whites, cool neutrals and metallics complements the natural beauty of the high ceilings and classic decorative English features, and is juxtaposed by surprising flashes of colour and plush fabrics to create a sense of theatre and individuality.

Decadent lighting and bespoke furniture give the large and perfectly proportioned bar and brasserie areas a relaxed feel, whilst unique design features add to the plentiful character - making an ultra alluring and ambient space for your celebrations.

The brasserie boasts an impressive bespoke floor to ceiling wine wall and The Library, which is an extension of the brasserie but can also be used as a private dining area, is reminiscent of the elegant style of a gentleman's club; intimate, low key and luxurious.

Brasserie Manager, Rod Gill, comments: “The Alverton is an amazing building in a spectacular location and now we have a bar and brasserie to match. By drawing inspiration from classical detailing our new interior design remains true to our heritage but reflects our modern brand values of quality and luxury. Each and every part of our dining experience has been refreshed to offer an exciting and stylish addition to the Cornwall food and drink scene.”

Long renowned for its comprehensive wine and Champagne collection, The Alverton is Truro’s hottest new cocktail hangout. With stylish design touches and inviting seating, the bar area presents the perfect place for leisurely drinks as your guests sup on some special fizz and mingle into the early hours accompanied by super stylish surrounds.
