Cornwall's beautiful countryside bolthole of Bosinver is pleased to announce its recent double gold scoop at the Cornwall Tourism Awards for Self Catering Holiday of the Year and Sustainable Tourism.
In addition, they have been shortlisted for two other categories in the Cornwall Sustainability Awards (with the results to be announced on 4th December) for the Best Managed Small Business and for Connecting with Nature.
Bosinver's gorgeous eco-house, Lowen, provides the perfect escape for hens, providing a coolly designed setting complete with all the mod cons, including a private hot tub - not to mention, green credentials that'll sweeten your conscience.
Utterly self sufficient and carbon neutral, Lowen's luxury house uses PV panels and a ground source heat pump to provide electricity, heating and hot water. What's more, practically all the furnishings are either environmentally friendly or recycled and locally sourced.
Boasting 30 acres of land, Bosinver's stunning setting features woodland, a lake and wildflower meadows in which to freely roam, providing plenty of beautiful space to enjoy everything from cycling and walking to fishing and adventure activities (archery, high ropes, coasteering, sailing, rock climbing...the list goes on); or simply chill out in stylish surrounds for some wonderfully dreamy downtime.
